IPB Debating Community (IDC) officially designated as the Student Activity Unit in 2009. IDC is one of the Student Activity Unit in IPB which accommodate students who have an interest and talent in the field of debate in English. IDC is chaired by a president with the help of the staff, the first vice president , second Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary 1, Secretary 2, and 3 Department of Training and Development, Information and Communication, and External and Competition.
IDC hold routine activity of debate training every Sunday at 10 am, with invited trainers from outside the IPB. IDC has often participated in the national debate competition.
Today the English language is required in a global world, especially in communicating internationally. English Debate is one way to develop our English language skills.
